Mahal vs. murah
Jumat lalu gw mesen sarapan di Coffee Bean… a simple order which sets me back 30.000 rupiahs. at that moment I wasn’t aware of what I ordered. well, it turned out that the 30.000 rupiahs bought me a decent tea bag with a cup of hot water, four slices of nicely baked bread, a pack of strawberry flavored jam, a pack of butter, and finally, a sunny side up egg (or was it two?).
Mahal atau murah? relatif… dengan sepertiganya gw bisa masak hal yang sama. with comparable taste, i might add :). Tapi dengan 30 ribu itu gw bisa duduk dengan tenang nunggu temen gw dateng sambil ngisi perut gw yang super lapar di dalam air-conditioned room yang dipenuhi asap rokok.
